PROJECT DETAILS

Copernicus Center, located in Chicago, is a not-for-profit organization serving the Chicago area since 1971. We were honored to have been selected by the foundation to develop and install a solar photovoltaic installation.
We have worked with the Illinois Clean Energy Foundation to provide a grant for the installation to help offset the costs.
This 40 kW installation helps offset 20% of the total annual energy the building uses. It is set on a low slope roof a little more than 5 stories tall. It has been a pleasure working with the foundation, namely, Greg Kobielinski, to make this project happen and make it a win for everyone.
